Virtual Warehouse feature

Prevent inventory from being allocated to orders. This is an advanced feature turned on by request

Example Use case: When you want to avoid a large order from locking up (allocating) inventory to that large order, so that you keep that inventory available for DTC

This feature only works if we have turned it on for your account

Move a wholesale order to VIRTUAL WAREHOUSE

  1. Create the wholesale order like usual
    1. add the ORDER TAG VIRTUAL_WAREHOUSE and hit Enter
    2. Make sure to click Save Tags.
    3. click Reprocess

Move a wholesale order back to Primary

  1. First Delete the Order Tag VIRTUAL_WAREHOUSE
  1. Add the Order Tag RELEASE and hit ENTER.
  1. Make sure to click Save Tags.
  1. click Reprocess
