Introduction
The Product Details page on ShipBots is a centralized location for managing all aspects of a product's information like manage inventory, track product changes, and much more.
Accessing
To begin, under the
Inventory
tab, click on Products
from the dropdown menu to access your product Listing page.Next, click on the
product
link to open its details page.Details Panel
On the left side of the Product Details page, you'll find the
Details Panel
, which contains essential information about a specific product:- Customer: The associated customer or client for the product.
- Active Status: Indicates whether the product is currently active.
- Name and SKU: The product's name and Stock Keeping Unit identifier.
- Physical Characteristics: Includes weight, height, width, and length.
- Inventory Details: Lists the value, price, customs value, on hand quantity, allocated amount, reserve, and non-sellable totals.
- Reorder Information: Shows reorder level and amount, available quantity, and backorder count.
This panel serves as the core information hub for each product and allows for quick updates to key details.
Edit Product Details
Click the
Pencil Icon
to show the Modal window where you can make changesAfter making edits click
Update
button to Save Changes.The other sections
Product Images and Notes
The interface also provides a section to upload and manage product images. Users can add notes for internal reference, which can include product descriptions or specific handling instructions.
Kit Components and Product Cases
For products that are sold as part of a kit or have multiple units per case, this section allows you to manage kit components and product case quantities, streamlining the bundling process.
