Create An Exchange Order
How to create an exchange offer when the customer needs to exchange an product or order.
Exchanges are basically a Return, that also creates an outbound shipment once the return is created.
Introduction
When a customer needs to exchange an item, ShipBots makes the process easy and efficient. Here's how to create an exchange order:
Initiating an Exchange
To begin, under the
Orders
tab, click on Manage Orders
from the dropdown menu to access your Orders Listing page. Search for the Order and click the #OrderNo
link to go to Order Details
page.Selecting Items for Exchange
Once you are on the Order Details page, scroll to the
Actions
section and click on Return Order
.On the return order page:
- Choose the item that the customer wants to exchange.
- Specify the quantity to be returned.
- Select the return reason.
- Set the return type to
Exchange
.
Before finalizing, review all details in the
Customer Info
and Return Options
, and check the Shipping Info
to ensure correct return processing.Once all information is verified and correct, click on
Generate RMA
