Create A Return Order
How to create a return order to get the package back from the customer.
Introduction
Managing returns is an integral part of your e-commerce business. Here’s how you can quickly create a return for an order in ShipBots.
Access Orders Page and find the Order
To begin, under the
Orders
tab, click on Manage Orders
from the dropdown menu to access your Orders Listing page.Search for the Order and click the
#OrderNo
link to go to Order Details
page.Initiating the Return
Once the Order Details are displayed, look for the
Actions
section on the right side of the page. Click on Return Order
to start the return process.Selecting Items for Return
A new page will show up where you can select the products to be returned. Here, you will:
- Enter the quantity for each product that is being returned.
- Choose a reason for the return.
- Select the type of return, such as an exchange, refund, or store credit.
- Optionally, leave a note that will appear in internal notes for reference.
Finalizing the Return
Review the entries in the
Customer Info
section and update the Shipping Info
as needed. Make sure you choose the correct return label type and the shipping carrier and method for the return label.Before completing the process, confirm the return address in the
Return Options
section. Then, click on Generate RMA
to issue the Return Merchandise Authorization.By following these steps, you can efficiently handle returns within ShipBots, ensuring customer satisfaction and streamlined operations.
